Engagement with Support Groups

Our aim is to ensure that we deliver as fair and appropriate a consultation service for you as possible. To achieve this, we know that it is vital that we have input from a range of support organisations that help promote and protect the interests of disabled people.

We have developed relationships with key disability rights/disabled people’s organisations to form the ‘PIP Engagement Group’. We are committed to working closely with these interested parties to inform the development of our PIP service.

The representatives in the PIP Engagement Group are from groups supporting people with disabilities and specific health conditions, and representatives of groups who help people complete claims.

We consult with these representatives on a range of topics where their expertise is invaluable. We believe that listening to their advice, taking action where possible, will help us to deliver you with a better service.  It will also help to identify any areas of our service that need to be addressed.

The fact that these groups have agreed to meet with us to discuss issues and options for service improvement does not mean they endorse PIP or our role in it.
