Train: On leaving the station turn right onto Boar Lane, carry on up Duncan St, then onto New York St and York St with Kirkgate Market and Leeds Bus Station on your left. Cross St. Peter’s Street then walk up St. Peter’s Square with the BBC building and then the Leeds College of music building on the left hand side. Turn left into Centenary Square until facing Quarry House which is the large red brick and glass building. The entry to the Assessment Centre is on the far left of the building.
Car: ACCESS TO DISABLED BLUE BADGE PARKING AND PICK UP / DROP OFF POINT
From Marsh lane, heading north towards the Inner Ring Road (A64), on the left will be Quarry House take the second entrance to the building marked ‘North’. On entering North entrance, you will arrive at a barrier with an intercom and direction signs. Press the intercom button and provide the claimant’s name and appointment details. Wait for the barrier to be raised, then turn immediately right up the hill and follow direction signs. Clearly marked on site disabled parking is situated close to the Assessment Centre entrance on the west side of the building, and is for Blue Badge holders only. When leaving by car follow the direction signs and exit via the South entrance. There is no exit via the North entrance. Please note that Blue Badge parking is limited.
Alternative blue badge parking and parking for non blue badge holders
The closest parking to Quarry House is Quarry Hill car park, run by Leeds City Council. Parking can be accessed along St. Peter’s Street, turning right into St. Peter’s Square, then left into Centenary Square. Quarry Hill car park can also be accessed via York Street.
Bus: From the bus station, cross St. Peter’s Street at the crossing near Millgarth Police Station. Proceed up the long flight of stairs to the left of West Yorkshire Playhouse. This route may be difficult for those with mobility issues - ramps are available at some parts, but not all parts of this access point. Alternatively, after crossing St. Peter’s Street, turn right with West Yorkshire Playhouse on your left, then turn left into St. Peter’s Square then left into Centenary Square. Quarry House is the large red brick and glass building. The entry point for the Assessment Centre is at the far left of the building.
This is a ground floor assessment facility.
You can be dropped off adjacent to the assessment centre entrance.
Parking on site is for Blue Badge Holders only and is limited.
